We’ve introduced a new feature, and with it we’ve set expectations clearly, and transparently. Before today, the answer to the question of “How long does it take for the postcard to get to the consumer?” was “Somewhere between 5 and 10 business days.”
This new feature brings complete transparency to the process. When you mouse over the estimated delivery date in our dashboard, you’ll see an entire journal of the delivery process. From “Sent to production” – the day the Postcard was sent to production, to “Out for delivery” – the time and date the USPS told us that the Postcard was on the truck ready for delivery to the home.
Each line item in the dashboard represents one direct mail send, and these line items update throughout the day and are sent to us in real-time.
To be clear, we send every piece of direct mail using first class postage and we send our print runs as early as possible to shorten the time in production as much as possible. Our SLA points to two days maximum in production if the pieces are sent before 10AM Pacific. If not, then there’s a 3 days production expectation.
Remember that inboundgeo discovers the addresses of your anonymous website visitors, then sends a highly targeted direct mail piece to that address. The whole trip is documented in real-time now. From address discovery/qualification to delivery in just a few days. It’s kind of like Magic.
Get started today or let us know how we can help with your next direct mail campaign.
